Application for Agriculture Practices and Training Cooperation Program in Israel in 2022 and 2023

NOTIFICATION

Applying for the program of cooperation in agricultural training and practice in Israel in 2022-2023

 

Within the framework of a written agreement between Da Lat University and Ramat Negev Israel Center on sending students to participate in the Agricultural Practice and Training Program in Israel in 2022-2023. Under the support of the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam. In 2022, the Ramat Negev Center informed the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Da Lat University about sending students to Israel for professional internships, specifically as follows:

1. Selection plan:

– From the date of announcement to the end of May 20, 2022. Start registering and submitting documents to the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Da Lat University;

– Mid-May 2022 conducting interviews and selections;

– July: Departure to Israel after completing the procedures.

2. Thời gian đào tạo và thực hành:

11-12 months depending on the destination.

3. Training content and practice:

– Agricultural production techniques according to Israel’s modern farm model;

– Learning through doing:

– Students: 01 day/week of theoretical study, the remaining days are arranged to work (no more than 10 hours/day) on farms and are paid according to Israeli regulations. Theoretical days with the shuttle center’s car;

– Visiting advanced agricultural models of Israel;

– Visiting famous tourist sites of Israel 3-5 times during the course.

4. Conditions to participate in the program

– Male and female aged from 22 to 27 years old;

– Have good health (no hepatitis B, C and diseases of the liver, lungs, stomach, bones, joints, hemorrhoids, blood pressure);

– Have the desire and financial ability to participate in the program;

– Students who have just graduated or have graduated for less than 3 years from colleges and universities in agriculture, post-harvest technology, biology, biotechnology or related to agriculture.

5. Rights and responsibilities

a. Quyền lợi:

– Accommodation: Students are arranged by Israel in agricultural farms during the study period;

– Income: The average income after deducting expenses is in the range of 600-1000 USD/month. The amount of income may vary depending on the time worked and the place of employment.

– Certificate of completion at the end of the program.

b. Trách nhiệm:

– Self-sufficient preparation for participating in the program including health check, passport, visa, insurance, English training, skill training to supplement knowledge (Israeli culture, living and working in Israel) , orientation education, management (total budget is expected to be about 30 million VND back);

– Tự túc tiền vé máy bay (vé lượt về > 800USD, giá vé thay đổi theo thời điểm xuất vé, được khấu trừ từ lương tháng);

– Self-funding training and training management is 200 USD/month (deducted according to monthly salary);

– Self-sufficient personal computer for theoretical lessons in Israel;

– Comply with the regulations of the Program and your country.

6. Application documents: Successful candidates prepare 01 set of original documents and 01 color scanned file of original documents (in order), in pdf format, including the following documents:

– An application form to study abroad (according to the form);

– A fully certified volunteer application form (according to the form);

– Curriculum vitae with full certification (according to the form);

– The family’s commitment is fully certified (according to the form);

– Personal commitment (according to the form).

7. Implementation process:

– Students wishing to apply register (using the form) from April 15, 2022 to May 20, 2022 and participate in the program introduction as announced.

– Students actively check their overall health at a reputable medical facility before deciding to apply for admission;

– Students apply for admission (send the electronic registration file according to the form via email or register information directly using the form to the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at the address below);

– Students proactively contact the local police agency where their permanent residence is registered to carry out procedures for an ordinary passport;

– Students submit the original application (according to the form specified in Section 6 above) right after the results of the interview round 1 (recommended to submit the application before the Israeli interview round 2);

– Students register and participate in English training and orientation education classes (after the interview results of the Vietnamese side). Students with English certificates of level B or higher present their certificates at the placement test to be considered for exemption from English lessons;

– The Israeli side interviewed for the second round to receive and organize the student allocation plan

– VISA health examination at the clinic designated by the Israeli Embassy (estimated fee is 3.5 million VND/person);

Note:

+ Students need to remove parasites (helminths) according to medical instructions before the visa health examination (implement this recommendation immediately after the results of the interview round of the Vietnamese side) to ensure the blood test numbers are accurate;

+ Students self-check color blindness (if any) by looking at the website for self-testing measures for color blindness (if any).

+ Students pay directly at the Clinic.
