Promulgating regulations on the maximum time to complete the training program

of full-time students according to the credit system

PRINCIPAL OF DA LAT UNIVERSITY

Pursuant to Decision No. 426/TTG dated October 27, 1976 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of Da Lat University;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 70/2014/QD-TTg dated December 10, 2014 on the promulgation of the “Charter of the University”;

Pursuant to Decision No. 959/QD-BGD&ĐT-TCCB dated March 7, 2005 of the Minister of Education and Training on decentralization of management organization and staff of universities under the Ministry;

Pursuant to the Regulation on organization of formal university and college training under the credit system promulgated together with the Decision No. 43/2007/BGDĐT dated August 15, 2007 of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to the Decision No. 17/VBHN-BGDĐT dated May 15, 2014 of the Ministry of Education and Training on the promulgation of regulations on formal university and college training according to the credit system;

DECISION

Điều 01. Ban hành kèm theo Quyết định này “Quy định về thời gian tối đa hoàn thành chương trình đào tạo của sinh viên hệ chính quy theo hệ thống tín chỉ”.

Article 02. This decision takes effect from the date of signing and applies to full-time students under the credit system.

Article 03. The Deans, Deans, related units and students are responsible for implementing this Decision.

REGULATIONS

About the maximum time to complete the training program

of full-time students according to the credit system

(Issued together with Decision No. 87 /QD – ĐĐL dated February 18, 2016)

Article 1. Subjects of application

This regulation applies to full-time students of Da Lat University according to the credit system including: full-time university, college, and regular college-to-university communication system.

Article 2. Maximum study time

1. Students under the priority subjects specified in the regulations on admission to full-time universities and colleges: There is no restriction on the maximum time to complete the training program.

2. Students who do not belong to the priority subjects: The maximum time to complete the training program is specified as follows:

– 4-year university: The time to complete the training program is not more than 6 years;

– 4.5-year university: The time to complete the training program is not more than 6.5 years;

– 3-year college: The time to complete the training program is not more than 5 years;

– 1.5-year Communication University: The time to complete the training program is not more than 2.5 years.

3. Special cases (Illnesses or accidents requiring long-term treatment certified by the hospital; particularly difficult circumstances with local certification, etc.) that need to be extended the study period must be applied for. send it to the Faculty, the Student Affairs Department and the Training Management Department to submit to the Rector for specific consideration of each case. If the study time is extended, the maximum time to complete the training program must not exceed 2 times the design time of the corresponding training program (8 years for 4-year university, 9 years for 4.5-year university); 6 years with College; 3 years with University of Communication).

Article 3: Terms of Implementation

1. This document replaces the previous regulations on the maximum study period of regular students of Da Lat University.

2. The units in the school are responsible for organizing the implementation of this regulation.
